Our privacy approach
MeshCue is built by Meshdex as an offline-friendly teleprompter. You can create and prompt scripts without an account. Local-only scripts, preferences, prompt checkpoints, and an installation identifier stay on your device inside the app storage and secure operating-system storage.
We do not sell your personal information. The current app does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not send your scripts to a generative-AI service. If those capabilities are introduced later, this policy and the in-app disclosures will be updated before they are enabled.
Information we process
If you create an account, Amazon Cognito processes your email address, account identifier, verification status, and authentication information. Meshdex does not receive your password. Authentication tokens are stored using secure device storage.
When you choose cloud sync, MeshCue sends your scripts, script metadata, preferences, device installation identifier, revisions, and deletion markers to the MeshCue API. This information is used only to synchronize your signed-in devices and provide account features.
Our servers process limited operational data such as IP address, request identifier, route, response status, timing, and coarse error details for security and reliability. Ordinary application logs are designed not to contain authentication tokens, passwords, script bodies, or email content.
If you contact support, your email provider sends us the address and information you choose to include. MeshCue does not silently attach scripts, logs, device identifiers, or database contents to support messages.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, save and synchronize scripts, restore prompt state, respond to support requests, protect accounts, prevent abuse, diagnose service failures, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your script content for advertising, data brokerage, or model training.
Service providers and international processing
MeshCue uses Amazon Web Services for authentication, API hosting, and managed database infrastructure. The current production service is configured in the AWS Asia Pacific (Mumbai) Region. Google Play may process information when you download or update the Android app under Google’s own privacy terms.
Providers act under their own contractual and security obligations. We disclose information only as needed to operate the service, protect users, comply with law, or complete a business transfer with appropriate safeguards.
Retention and deletion
Local information remains on your device until you delete it in MeshCue, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app, subject to operating-system backup behavior. Cloud content remains while your account is active or until you delete the content or account.
An in-app account deletion request removes active application data through a queued process and deletes the Cognito identity. Limited security, audit, backup, or legally required records may remain only as long as necessary and are not restored to normal use. Security and your choices
We use encrypted network connections, authenticated APIs, access controls, least-privilege database roles, input validation, and protected credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security, so keep your device and account credentials protected.
You may use MeshCue without an account, choose whether to import local scripts into cloud sync, edit or delete scripts, sign out, export supported cloud account data, or request account deletion from the app.
Children and policy updates
MeshCue is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied information should contact us.
We may update this policy when the product or legal requirements change. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
